Registration for the Arizona statewide conference is now open! Reserve a spot today for what promises to be a great day of learning and connecting with grant professionals from across the region.
The Arizona Founding Chapter of GPA is hosting Arizona’s one-day statewide conference on September 14, 2017. The conference will feature lunch keynote speaker and GPA National CEO, Mike Chamberlain. Here’s more about Mike’s keynote, “Four Trends Impacting Grant Professionals”: As a grant professional, you are often charged with developing the funding stream for programs and activities within your organization. This means understanding all elements of the organization, researching funding opportunities, preparing a proposal, then, if awarded, managing the use of funds and the reporting of results from those funding sources.
In this presentation, you will learn about four trends in grants that will impact grant professionals in their daily work. These trends impact grant professionals in government, human services, education, healthcare, tribal nations, and anywhere grants are used to fund organizations and programs. We will cover trends in government grants, foundation grants, and other funding models that mirror grants. There will be something for everyone to take back with them to their organization to better prepare themselves and the organization for the coming changes in how you find and use funding.
Six breakout sessions are planned throughout the day featuring topics across the grants spectrum for new and experienced grant professionals. A closing session with Barbara McNichol will focus on streamlining your writing. Join us for a post-conference happy hour with plenty of time for networking!
